Footlights invite you to come aboard for their 1999 tour show, This Way Up. On ship, the crew of five will keep you riveted throughout the cruise. Featuring an aquatic ballet and an epic battle of computer game superstars, the show will also present a timely tribute to the music of the century. From the peculiarities of Edwardian Hall to the latest pop sensations of the 90s, via Elvis and the war-time glamour of the Andrews Sisters, This Way Up promises to be an incredibly buoyant journey.

Following last year's acclaimed Between A Rock And A Hard Place, Footlights are delighted to have back at the helm Cal McCrystal, director of the three hit Peepolykus shows (Horses For Courses, I Am A Coffee and Let The Donkey Go), plus The Mighty Boosh (winner of the 1998 Perrier Award for Best New Comedy) and Mel and Sue's sell-out 1999 national tour. Combining inspired physical comedy with the best traditions of Footlights, Cal and his cast of rising comedy stars have together created a show which is magical, musical, comical, nautical.
