This will be John's third tour since arriving in Cambridge two years ago, having been a technician and then lighting designer on European tours with the university's European Theatre Group. He is also going to be technical director for next year's ETG tour. Earlier this year he was technical director for the Footlights Spring Revue, Horsey Horsey. Other notable roles include those of chief electrician for Chess, lighting designer for Ghetto and sound designer for Dream.2000, a devised piece, all at the ADC Theatre, Cambridge. John is looking forward to driving a big van on tour; sadly no-one else on the team shares his enthusiasm at the prospect. In his spare time, John is studying Engineering at Jesus College. He has just completed his second year, and hopes that they allow him to return to do a third year, in order that he can do more theatre.
