Matthew has just finished his second year at Christ's College, where he has been involved in a great deal of comedy and drama, studying English in his spare time. He was in the 1998 Footlights Tour Between A Rock And A Hard Place, The Spectator noting his comedy ears' and advising: 'Rowan Atkinson watch out'. In Cambridge he has been involved in several other comic shows, including Presumed Damned with Greg Marsh and The Something Show, as well as appearing in numerous Footlights Smokers and the 1998 Pantomime, Sinbad the Sailor. Other shows in Cambridge include The Fire Raisers, Romeo and Juliet, and Loot, which he co-directed. This year he has also appeared on Cambridge Red TV in the comedy drama Malcolm's Video Diary. He is currently Falconer on the Footlights Committee (which doesn't involve any birds of prey), and will be next year's President. He would like to work in the entertainment industry when he grows up.
