Ruth Pickett is from Yorkshire and has just completed her first year reading English at Emmanuel College. Her acting credits include Carol in Willy Russell's Our Day Out and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and before coming to Cambridge, she wrote and directed a comic musical called Patent Pending. She performed in a quartet of new adaptations that marked the reopening of the Corpus Christi Playroom in January this year, and has written and performed regularly in Footlights Smokers. She also took part in a Charity Comedy Night at Durham University in February and the Gala Tribute to Dr Harry Porter (Footlights Senior Treasurer) in May.
